After catching the red-eye to New York City we arrived at 6am happy to be there but very tired. We wanted to spend the day out there before we headed out to Chicago. There was a little more incentive since the flights to NYC were more open then flights to Chicago. We had to find a spot to store our luggage then we took the light rail and subway down to Manhattan...
What an experience. Although we were tired and a little cold we had lots of fun riding on the subway, visiting Times Square, Grand Central Station, the largest Toy-R-Us I have ever seen. Poor David was sick but was a trooper and let us wall all over before crashing in the Subway car on our way back to the Airport.
When we were waiting on our plane to Chicago we saw one going back to Salt Lake City so there is defiantly a possibility of coming back for another day trip.
On to Chicago....
