We had a great quick trip out to Texas to see dad and the gang. Although we were there probably only a day and a half we sure did pack our day full of stuff and it still felt like a great getaway.
We got to see dad's horses which we have been dying to show Mia as well as his gardens which are amazing....(yes Chris we need to get working on ours). Darn I forgot to grab some onions and garlic.
Dad has a real working slot machine at his house which the kids spent hours on with his tokens...I had better not take them to Vegas. At least they did not loose any of their money...hehehe.
While there we also got to visit with Andrea and her family, Aunt Stella and Uncle Finley. As well as talk to most of the rest of the gang.
Least we forget we are in Texas, we even drove by a Drive Thru store for beer called "Chubbys" Yes, you actually drive through like a car wash or and stop in there and you can get your beer, snacks or even soda. LOL could you imagion if someone wanted to open one of these up in Utah.
We are defiantly going to have to get back there more often. Sorry we did not get to stay longer but we had a great time. We want to send a special thanks dad and grandma for letting us crash with them. Yes I know they don't have Internet but if someone could please print this out and forward it to them I would be much obliged....
