This past week was made up of doctor visits and football practices. I don't think we were home before 9pm any day this week.
So on Tuesday Sean received an MRI and CT scan on his neck. We learned on Saturday that Sean might have more damage to that area than expected. We then met with the Doctor on Friday to hear the results from the exam. Sean has a slipped disk between C4-5 which is pinching the nerve. This explain the tenderness and stiffness in his neck. Luckily he had no fractures. The Doctor recommended that he visit a nero specialist to review the scans in order to create a course of action that we allow him to play football again.
After the exam Sean was very disappointed because he wanted to play this weekend. He had been telling me all week that when he gets the clearance he is going to "lay out" a few people. This game was especially important to him because it was their first seasonal game.
So today we met Riverton, and the boys were pumped. After having a rough scrimmage last week, they were looking for some "pay-back". This game was not boring at all. There were many good plays which included some hard hits. Going into the 2nd half we were ahead 7-0. The defensive coach came out and told the boys that he was bringing pizza to practice Tuesday if the boys shut them out. In the end, we won...Bingham 21 - Riverton 0. Pizza Time!!!

Great looking jersey! I'm sorry to hear that Sean's injury is more serious. He will be out there in no time making the hits to "lay out" the other players. Take care of my baby!
love,
Michelle~
